# Premium

> What premium adds, and how to get it during the alpha.

One tier, everything included. Features that are free stay free.

## What premium adds

Managing a server **from the dashboard** requires premium. Everything you can configure in
Discord stays available without it — premium does not gate the bot's core behaviour, it gates
the web surface and higher operational limits.

  Self-serve purchasing is not open during the alpha. To get premium, contact the bot owner —
  there is no checkout to use yet, and any page that appears to offer one is not live.

## During the alpha

Premium is granted manually by the V.O.I.D operators. [Get in
touch](https://void.oauth.fyi/support) and mention the server you want it applied to.

Grants are per-server, recorded in the audit log, and can be revoked.

## The payments module

V.O.I.D never stores card data or payment credentials. Where a server configures its own payment
methods for its members (the `payments` module — commands under
[Setup & Admin](/void/commands/setup-admin)), those values are encrypted at rest and are only
displayed to the staff who configured them.

That module is a way to *show your members how to pay you* — it does not process payments, and
V.O.I.D takes no part in the transaction. It's a separate concept from the premium tier above:
`payments` is a free module any server can enable; premium is what unlocks the dashboard.
