If something is not working

Command registration isn’t guaranteed to happen automatically on every restart in every setup, and a global sync can take up to an hour to propagate even once it runs. Ask whoever manages your Download Bot instance to run /sync (bot owner only) if it’s been longer than that. Discord also caches command lists client-side for a bit — try restarting your Discord client too.
Discord invalidates interaction tokens after 15 minutes (3 seconds for the very first response). This shows up as a normal status message, not a crash — just reopen whatever panel or command you were using and try again.
Check the server’s access mode and, if it’s set to Roles, the configured access roles — both live under /downloads⚙️ Configuration🔐 Access Mode. See Configuration for what each mode allows.
The bot detects this at startup, or the next time it tries to refresh the panel, and logs a warning to your configured log channel if you have one. Run /downloads-setup #channel again to repost it.
That points to how this deployment’s storage is set up, which is outside what you can fix from inside Discord. Contact whoever operates your Download Bot instance — see Storage for what R2 storage means conceptually.

Getting help

There’s no publicly documented Discord support server or contact address for Download Bot in the materials this documentation is built from — it’s a self-hosted bot, so support runs through whoever operates your instance. If something here doesn’t cover your situation, contact them directly; they’re the ones who can reach the people who built or deployed it for you. If a command failed with an “Unexpected error” or “Discord error” message, it includes a short reference code — pass that along when you ask for help, it points directly at the relevant log entry.
