A listing only appears here if its server has public listing switched on and the
marketplace enabled. Turning either off in
/vouch-admin removes that server’s listings from
the site entirely.Browsing
vouch.foo/market searches titles and descriptions, and filters by type (selling, buying,
services), by category, and by price. Filters live in the URL, so a filtered catalogue is a
link you can send someone.
The default sort is best sellers, which orders by the seller’s valid vouch count in that
server. It is not the full trust rating — trust is computed live from several aggregates, and
ordering the entire catalogue by it would mean recomputing it for every listing on every page
load. Vouch count is the dominant term in trust anyway, and each card shows the average rating
beside it so you can judge for yourself.
Every card carries the seller’s record: their name, their vouch count in that server, and their
average rating. That is the whole point — you can tell who is safe to buy from before you talk
to them.
Creating a listing
1
Redeem user premium
vouch.foo/dashboard/listings shows the form locked until you do. It stays visible rather
than hidden, so you can see what a key would give you.2
Pick a server
You can post into any server that is running Vouch. with the marketplace and public listing
both enabled. Your listing belongs to that server’s marketplace as well as the global
catalogue.
3
Write it
Title, description, type, and optionally a category and price. Leave the price empty and the
card reads “Ask”.
4
It posts to Discord
The listing card appears in that server’s marketplace channel automatically. You do not need
to run
/market create as well — this is that./dashboard/listings, and each one updates the card in Discord.
How buyers reach you
Each server decides how contact works, and the website respects that setting rather than overriding it. When someone opens a listing, they see one of these:Your payment details, behind a click
Your payment details, behind a click
For servers set to show contact details. The buyer must be signed in, and the details sit
behind a button rather than rendering straight away — payment handles are the part a
scraper wants, and a deliberate click makes bulk harvesting cost something.
A link to your own storefront
A link to your own storefront
For servers set to storefront links, when you have a storefront URL on your profile. If you
do not, it falls back to showing payment details, exactly as the bot does.
A deep link into Discord
A deep link into Discord
For servers using private threads, ticket channels, or mentions. Those workflows create
something inside Discord, which only the bot can do — so rather than half-implementing them,
the site sends the buyer straight to the listing’s own card, where the real Contact
Seller button is.

anonymous visitors.
