/games and
/setchannel change how the bot behaves in your server, so Discord requires
the Manage Server permission to run them. /status is read-only and open
to everyone. See Installation & Permissions
for the full breakdown.
/games
/games
Syntax:
/gamesAccess: Manage ServerOpens an ephemeral panel — only you can see it. The root screen shows how
many games are enabled out of the total, plus a row of category buttons:
Featured, Steam, Tactical, Battle Royale, and Other. A
category with no games in it is disabled.Pick a category to see every game in it as a checklist, with a select
menu for turning them on or off. Enable All and Disable All apply
to the whole category in one click. Changes only take effect once you hit
Save Changes — the button stays disabled until you’ve actually
changed something, and closing the panel without saving discards your
selection.Turning a game on doesn’t back-fill past updates — the first check after
you enable it just establishes a starting point. You’ll get a
notification the next time that game actually ships something new.Example: Run /games → open Steam → enable Counter-Strike 2
and Dota 2 → hit Save Changes./setchannel
/setchannel
Syntax:
/setchannelAccess: Manage ServerOpens an ephemeral panel with a native Discord channel picker. Pick a
channel and hit Save. Updater validates the channel before accepting
it:- If the channel no longer exists (it can happen if it’s deleted mid-flow), the panel says so.
- If Updater is missing View Channel or Send Messages in that channel, the panel lists exactly which permission is missing instead of saving anyway.
/setchannel → pick #game-updates → Save →
Send Test to confirm delivery works end to end./status
/status
Syntax:
/statusAccess: EveryoneOpen to every member, not just admins. Shows:- Whether things are operating normally for your server.
- How many games are enabled and which channel notifications go to.
- Provider health for every monitored source (healthy, degraded, rate-limited, not configured, and so on).
- The most recently detected update among your tracked games.
- Recent delivery activity: last successful delivery, failures in the last 24 hours, and anything currently in flight or stuck.
/status to check provider health after a release you
expected hasn’t shown up yet — then hit Refresh if you make a change
and want an updated read without re-running the command.
